Shira Sussi is a registered dietitian, culinary enthusiast and nutrition expert.
Shira brings her extensive experience as an outpatient clinical dietitian at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) where she counseled adults with chronic diseases referred from top Columbia doctors. She also served as the dietitian at an NYP outpatient medical practice, improving nutritional outcomes for adult, obstetrics and pediatric patients.
She holds a Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetics from New York University, and completed the 1,200 hours of supervised professional experience through NYP’s dietetic internship.
Prior to a career in dietetics, Shira worked at Travel + Leisure magazine. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has been featured in and contributes to various publications.
An advocated for the healing power of movement, Shira completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017 at Tangerine Hot Power Yoga
Her newest and most rewarding role: Mom! Shira resides in Brooklyn with her husband, baby Lior and rescue Chi-mix, Snowbee.
